Five hundred years after a divine war, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, a spiritual successor to EverQuest II, welcomes players to explore the mysterious continent of Terminus.
As an open world MMORPG, Pantheon is a direct competitor to World of Warcraft, and even more so to its Classic version.
But, as we all know with any MMO out there, the more popular and fun it gets, the stronger the goal to achieve everything within it becomes. Sometimes, no matter the cost.
Thus, with that in mind, let’s look at what you should avoid doing in Pantheon, to avoid getting your account banned.
What Gets Your Account Banned in Pantheon RotF?
Simiarly to the reason behind WoW account bans, which are mostly the same for all MMOs out there, here’s what you should steer clear of:
- botting and any automation software, including macros (whether used for gathering, farming, leveling, questing and so forth);
- any exploits, bugs or glitches (the most gamebreaking ones being duping items or currency, trivializing fights or lagging / crashing / preventing other players from being able to play);
- toxicity and any type of negative behavior towards the game’s community;
- RMT, selling or buying any in-game items or currency for real world money;
- account sharing or boosting, as you’re not allowed to share your account with anyone else, regardless of reason.
Apart from that, it’s best to avoid anything that looks or seems “too good to be true”, such as perhaps receiving rare gifts from players you don’t know very well, or teaming up with anyone that you suspect to be cheating.
Keep in mind however that (especially) in MMOs, it’s not uncommon for false positive bans to be issued. Their triggers can be anything from an actual mistake of the anti-cheating system due to an in-game trade or a specific action, all the way up to an IP discrepancy behind your login or device.
Having said that, let’s go over the ban appeal process, should you find yourself banned from Pantheon.
Submitting a Pantheon RotF Ban Appeal
