Dead by Daylight is designed with asymmetric gameplay in mind and that’s why it will require you to focus on a specific killer or a survivor. When it comes to picking a certain killer, things are strange because all of them come with their own pros and cons. But if you have the right amount of patience it will be a pretty fun experience.
Sally Smithson, a.k.a The Nurse
A lot of people consider Sally Smithson, a.k.a The Nurse to be the best killer. She has a stellar blink ability and that can make her a bit hard to master. But if you get past that, you will be able to warp long distances and ambush survivors. She also has some great perks that bring disadvantages to survivors.
HAG
In case you want a more trap based approach, HAG is the right character for you. Since she can have 10 traps at a time, it’s safe to say that it will be easy for you to eliminate survivors without issues. The downside is that you need to know the map very well. On the other hand, traps are great if you want to stop them from going to specific generators.
Hillbilly
Hillbilly is a pretty basic killer in the game, but it’s also one of the best characters you can play too. it allows you to be very creative and the fact that it has a chainsaw does help you break pallets too.
The Plague
We like playing as The Plague because it brings in all kinds of infections that will make the survivor life quite challenging. It might not be the most impressive character to play, but you do have a large skillset and all skills are pretty amazing.
Huntress
Some people want to go with the long range gameplay and in this case the Huntress excels. It has long range throwing axes and these will bring in tons of damage very fast. The perks are great too, and you can have territorial defense.
Doctor
Doctor is quite different because he will have a treatment mode where it will raise the madness of other players. They will scream their location and so on, which makes this hunter such an interesting approach.
Leatherface
Leatherface is impressive too, similar to the Hillbilly in many ways. He is slower than Billy and you can pressure the survivors. The attack is great and powerful, and he is a great killer for sure.
Of course, these are only a few of the best. We also recommend you to try out Ghostface or Pig from Jigsaw. As you can see there are plenty of amazing killers in the game, and if you have a lot of patience and you focus on improving how you play, you will find lots of fun and excitement to be had in this game. It’s definitely very creative and fun, and you should totally check it out and test it out for yourself.
